Theodore William Dwight (1822-1892) was an American lawyer and professor of law. Dwight began teaching at the Columbia College Law School as its only professor in 1858, the year the school was founded. George W. Van Siclen and Edwin W. Coggeshall were law students at the Columbia College Law School. Collection consists of notes taken by George W. Van Siclen on lectures on law delivered by Dwight to the junior class, 1866, and the senior class, 1867, of the Columbia College Law School. Topics include the rights of persons, equity jurisprudence, law of real property, and law of personal property. One volume was recorded by Edwin W. Coggeshall and copied by Van Siclen. less

Herman Foster Robinson (d. 1903) was a lawyer of New York City. Collection consists of Robinson's notebooks and other papers.
